115th Congress the final chapter: And Gerry Mander as the Speaker.

Re: 115th Congress the final chapter: And Gerry Mander as the Speaker.

So McSally loses to Sinema but ends up in the Senate anyway in McCain (unfilled term) seat.

Wow.

It's going to be a fun 2020 Senate campaign in AZ, assuming the Dems have another Sinema in the wings. McSally will have to explain why she was anti-Trump, then warmed up to him during the midterms, and what her position on Trump is now (assuming he runs for re-election). That's a tough tightrope to walk in a state that's trending away from SCROTUS.

Another takedown of Weasel Paul Ryan: https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2018-12-20/so-long-paul-ryan-you-won-t-be-missed

Regarding McSally one has to wonder if there was anybody else they could have chosen. It seems the Gov wanted someone else but if Sheriff Joe and his merry band of loons are all you have in the stable sometimes you take the easy way out. No idea who the Dems put up although they do control 5 House seats so maybe a candidate comes from there or Gabby Giffords husband makes a bid (I'm assuming Giffords health would not allow her to do so although I'm not sure how she's doing).

Can McCaskill please stop. She lost. No reason to preach to incoming D incumbents or warn of 'cheap dem rhetoric'.

Yeah I agree she's not doing herself any favors. Tester and Manchin did manage to win their respective races facing the same climate that she was. Worse yet the guy she lost to is now under investigation by the state of Missouri.

She has every right to talk as anyone else. Republicans don't ***** about their guys when they talk.

Re: 115th Congress the final chapter: And Gerry Mander as the Speaker.

Sure, she does. And we have every right to call her out for being completely out of touch with reality to the point where she managed to lose during a blue wave.

You try winning in Missouri. Good luck. Republicans don't call their people out. That's one of the ways they win.

You hear any Republicans calling him out? I don't. Like I said, good luck in Missouri. You're going to need it.
For the most part they’re too wimpy to do it but it’s happened on occasion. He rips on other republicans plenty though.

And I don’t plan on living in Missouri 😂

Re: 115th Congress the final chapter: And Gerry Mander as the Speaker.

It's funny. I can't imagine why McCaskill gets told to shut-up, but Bernie, who also lost and was out-of-touch with reality on certain subjects, doesn't? Hmm, can't figure out why that would be...

So if that is how they win how is her calling out her party a good idea? Isnt the goal to win?

Both Bernie and her should shut their faces :p

If the Democrats would stop whining about it no one would even hear about it. But, Democrats as always, give voice to the stupidity.

But they wouldnt win so who cares.

Re: 115th Congress the final chapter: And Gerry Mander as the Speaker.

Exactly who cares. Yet hear we are telling her to shut up cause we're worried about what? What she might say?

Ok you are speaking in circles...you on one hand say she should criticize and the Dems should do this stuff and on the other hand say Republicans win because they DONT do this stuff or if they do they keep it in house. Well do you want to win or not? If so she should keep this on the down low not let the Press get a hold of it.

No. All I'm saying is no one should be telling her to shut up. That's it. Winning? Democrats are what they are. This country is in the toilet and frankly I'll be dead long before it will be fixed.
