Aparch is right. Starbucks is generally way overroasted. If you can find a Dunn Brothers or Caribou, you're much better off.

I can sub Dunkin and McDonalds in a pinch. They are both surprisingly above where I would expect fast food joints to be for coffee.

But if you start with Starbucks, I would suggest their lightest roast first (Blonde if they have it brewed that day). It won't be as acidic and fruity as Caribou's Daybreak, but I don't mind it.

Caribou is no better. (it used to be) They burn the crap out of their beans now too. Dunn Brothers is ok. If you want good coffee avoid the chains at all cost.

Well as I've said, my fundamental problem with coffee is coffee tastes like as-s.

Coffee that isn't accompanying either breakfast or dessert is a waste of time. Just ish.

Better still, find a local coffee shop. The Twin Cities have Peace Coffee, which is fantastic. In Holland (MI), where I live, I have Lemonjello's.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) announced Tuesday that the Senate will delay the August recess as they scramble to catch up with a GOP agenda that is months behind schedule.

“In order to provide more time to complete action on important legislative items and process nominees that have been stalled by a lack of cooperation from our friends across the aisle, the Senate will delay the start of the August recess until the third week of August," he said.
