Final from Utica: UC 7 - Curry 3.

Game started out chippy and only got worse.
Curry takes a bench penalty at end of game for not shaking hands (or that is what I assumed happened as they did not line up for handshakes and they got a bench penalty).
Pretty sure the Curry coach flipped the Utica Coach the bird after the game. They met at center ice and I don't think they arranged to go out for coffee and desert after the game.

i saw that finger from a mile away..... Somehow i think that Curry won't be back....

Elmira didn't win, did it? The top end MASCAC can give anyone a good game.

Unfortunately, it appears off-ice issues will negatively impact future invitations.

Elmira and Morrisville travel all the way to Vermont to play each other...ironic!

Three game series...They have each other in a home and home next weekend too...Things might get real ugly next weekend based on what I saw today.

Unfortunately, it appears off-ice issues will negatively impact future invitations.

Next year's tourney is UMass-Dartmouth, Neumann, and Conn. College.

I'm assuming you're referring to the FSU parent and his protege that were taunting from the stands Fri night? Too bad the kids and program get smeared with the actions of an out of control father.

IMO, only the Eagles will get invited back.

Great so there's the 1 out of 10 JK. Salem State is a bit ahead of the times compared to a Fitchburg State. Salem does have "some" talent. But I'm not so sure you want to gloat a 2-1 record vs A) The ECAC East, a Conference that went 3-17-3 against the ECAC W, NCHA, and SUNYAC (if you take away Castletons 3 SUNYAC wins over powers Morrisville, Potsdam and Brockport) and B) The fact they beat Babson (5th place) and NEC (9th place) and lost to Southern Maine (8th place). A combined .380 winning %.....

This year alone, the MASCAC is 0-7-1 vs Big 6 teams above .500 being out scored on average 5-1 and out shot by nearly 25 shots a game. Yes the middle of the pack MASCAC teams can pull and upset here and there, but 9 times out of 10 you will see the upset being a game in which a goalie stood on his head and the rest of the team was out played the 99% of the game.

Fitchburg was just out shot 92-33 on the weekend. When your game average in sog (16.5) is nearly half of the average difference in sog (29.5).....you're not that good, period.

Speaking of conference/out-of-conference play, in conference, the Norwich WOMEN'S Team has an "amazing" 62GF to 2GA (8-0-1), BUT OOC, it is 12GF to 9GA (3-1-0).

Playing as tough an OOC as they can
Only lose to #1 RIT

Any Adrain fan can feel your pain, a team can only work with the schedule they have, and Norwich is certainly doing what they can.

You have to play your league games, but out of conference the women have/had RIT,Elmira, Plattsburgh X 2, Bowdoin and Amherst. With 19 league games those six are about as good as you can do for a NC schedule. I don't think Adrian did as much with their men's NC schedule.
