Banning guns in this country is a lost cause. Too many guns out there already. And this is NOT an island like Australia. Too many smuggling routes. Can't stop human smuggling, you think we can stop guns? Nope. So stop right there.

Attitude change is the best solution, and I have no idea on where to begin with that. I really don't.

“Can’t stop it completely so may as well do nothing” should be the first attitude change.

Never said that. I HAVE said I want mental health clearances, and gunshow loopholes closed.

But that wall that Mexico is paying for will eliminate all the smuggling, so that's not a problem, right?

We can't stop all traffic fatalities so we shouldn't have any traffic laws.

We can't stop all overdoses so we should do away with all drug laws.

Can’t stop drug smuggling so why bother trying to keep heroin illegal? Or even bother to try reducing heroin overdoses?

I’m pretty sure the US is the source of illegal guns in Mexico

His right to have a gun is way more important than anyone’s right to life. Lots of people will scream that at you.

What's most interesting to me is the Heller decision appears to be irrelevant to the NRA, the folks who need the NRA's money to get elected, and the electorate that votes for the NRA's candidate's.

But, whatever. There's nothing we can do. We've proved that.
