(Kepler-on-the-road) Another mission is to convince the news providers to either eliminate Comment sections or at least to have CAPTCHA verification.

But if you need one to defend yourself against an alphabet attack on you, your family and your friends, you will need as many as you can get your hands on.

That's actually really, really accurate. Uncle is a hunter (and retired officer) and he'd probably say the same thing.

If I understand logic:

Banning abortion will prevent abortion.
Banning gay marriage will prevent same-sex couples from getting married;
Banning trans people from using public restrooms will mitigate rape and other sexual-based offenses.
When it comes to assault weapons and other gun reform: "I don't know, it's not like new laws will make us safer..."

Nicely done, Miss, though I suppose the NRAddicts would say, "Banning guns would be like banning penyses."

The internet sure does suck sometimes. How many mouth-breathers out there believed the photo someone re-tweeted to them of a Parkland protester ripping up a copy of the constitution was real? Most, I'm betting. Hopefully the courage and activism shown by so many young people around the country continues at least until all are old enough to vote.
