Re: 0 Days Since Last Shooting: Guns, Guns, And More Guns

I believe I recently heard President Donald J. Trump offer to shred the Fourth in the name of expediency over due process. I was quite disgusted.

I guess none of the First Five matter much anymore.

As we've seen the 2nd absolutely matters. Or at least blowing it waay out of proportion.

I found it a bit ironic that he decided to use the NDAA against the people that put it into place. Now you know why I'm against Voter IDs and the wall.

Let us know when we get to the point where any amendment is more important than the second.

I believe they can discriminate based on age can’t they? Hopefully the big chains doing this helps smaller gun shops. I think it might end up being a good thing.

Yet a baker must be forced to make a cake or pay six figures...

Might. What do you do about a kid who has a ton of bibles out in the open at his/her home?

(trick question - the kid is home schooled).

Hope and pray that the kid has been introduced to Neil DeGrasse Tyson and has found a good source of answers for the question "why" other than the "We'll never know what God intended or why."

Hell of a story to read. These idiots with all these guns and the kid making threats against the school and the family says things like:

Seriously. So happy the police took the guns away. So happy. They were not locked up. Their kid threatened the school. Whining now about your rights being trampled? **** that.

Bye the way. Read the paper today and the police had a valid search warrant before entering the home. I don't see any Constitutional Rights being violated here.

See some 20yr old kid is suing dicks....

Re: 0 Days Since Last Shooting: Guns, Guns, And More Guns

The lawsuit is a real positive.

1) Lethargy is gun controls biggest danger...until another dozen or so are killed. The lawsuit keeps deadly weapons in the spotlight with the additional outcome of putting pressure on pols who support their dissemination.

2) It brings home financial costs (in addition to costs in lives) to these retailers of selling guns. The goal isn't to stop selling AR15's to 18 yo's...its to stop selling them period. Perhaps a Dick's decides its finally not worth it.

"A" Dick's? No, the Dick's Sporting Goods corporation has decided to no longer sell AR-15 rifles in any of its stores, including its non-Dick's branded stores.

The Tweet appears to be wrong. "The lawsuit claims a store owned by Dick's Sporting Goods in Medford, Oregon, refused to sell Watson a .22-caliber Ruger rifle on Feb. 24. The suit says Grants Pass Walmart in Oregon refused to sell him a gun on March 3."

Regardless, the lawsuit is overall good news for gun control efforts as it continues to put pressure on retailers and pols in favor of easy access to the weapons.
