Quite a lot of it, actually. The violence is an aberration, and more people have died prematurely from disease than violence. But for scared people like you, you always fear and want to lash out instead of talking.

It's REALLY stupid that you would rather try to kill people than prevent people from wanting OR being able to mass kill. What a great world you live in.

Simple solution- magazine size limits (call it 6), and fire rate limits. And the latter does NOT mean as fast as you can pull your finger. That should be left to fart jokes.

Done.

Ironically, that would also make any armed guards more effective, since they would be less of *THE MOST OBVIOUS FIRST TARGET*.
