NHL 2026: The Olympics Will Be Mammoth!

Is that better or worse than Grand Rapids, MN? Known for Judy Garland

TIL! I always assumed she was yet another Brooklyn naif with a pathological stage mother who dragged her out to Hollywood at 14 (or younger) to grin and bear it on the studio casting couch (Barbara Stanwyck, Mae West, Anita Stewart, Clara Bow all made it to the screen via the elderly genitalia of Harry Cohn, Darryl F. Zanuck, and/or Louis B. Mayer).

No, she was secretly Batman.

Something in the back of my head thinks there was once an indoor softball league. Or at least, a fad where softball was played indoors. There were all kinds of special rules to make it work. I think there was some sports complex on Long Island which advertised it a lot. Kepler, any recollection of this?
In Germany, we play indoor slowpitch softball during the winter.

Split a basketball gym into half with two fields. The ball is heavier and softer. Any catch, even if it hits the wall first, is an out. If you hit the basketball backboard on the fly, it's a home run.

It's total chaos with all the bounces.

Phil Hartman?
Ryan. He was a bust of a first round pick for Chicago. He’s accepted and settled into the pest/agitator role.

Some guys are talented enough you can say “Wow he’s really doesn’t need to engage in all the extracurriculars.” Not so with Hartman. They are integral to his game. 😆

I went for a walk today and took a picture for Kepler, although for some reason i can't upload it here. It was a picture of the Ken Dryden memorial outside Centre Bell.

These people up here are insane, in the best way.

also, surely Jamie Benn's 2500 fine will teach him a lesson. I really wish someone would sue him, but that probably won't happen until paralysis.
