Its a shame

I just figured some of the Minnesotans on here got caught up in the Somali day care fraud scandal these last few days.

You folks all doing OK??? I think it's official, you've all taken this "Minnesota Nice" stuff a wee bit too far. Part of that is our tax money (federal) too ...

Nothing to "fight" over really. Your side remains the undefeated champions of fraud, at least since the turn of the century.

I will remind all on USCHO, there would be no USCHO ... actually no college hockey at all ... without the hockey-loving Somali people who built it all 😂 😂
 
Forum is now almost completely unusable for me on mobile. At least 90% of the time I click into anything, Cafe, Thread, whatever, the forum is immediately replaced with an unclosable full page ad. Click "back" and try again? Same thing happens.

And I use mobile more often.
 
All of USCHO does that for me all the time on iPacifier. Only usable on desktop.

I have industrial strength ad blocking at router/VPN level so whatever fuckery USCHO is using is invasive and devious. Bad karma, kittens. You exist at my sufferance. Be better. Or else.

I have an ad blocker installed for this reason.
 
VPN will get you different ads based on where the server is. Streaming CBC on a VPN server in Canada I gets ads for Canadians when on USCHO
 
Oh good it’s not just me. Usually when you get ads like that, there is an x you can click on to shut it but not with these ads. I was able to get rid of them when I rotated my phone to look at the screen horizontally rather than vertically. Give that a try.
 
New phone yesterday, no improvement. I’m not entirely surprised, but I (Pollyanna) hoped going from a four-year-old phone to a new one would make some small difference…even though it’s a site/server thing.

Haven't had any issues on mobile, but I'm rolling with Firefox with uBlock Origin as an extension. 🤐 Only issue I have is the rare site hiccup where it won't load.
 
Did the entire edit menu above the text entry go grey for everybody 2 days ago, or did I fuck something up?

Edit: nm, I just discovered out what "Toggle BB code" does.
