Already insane, UAA making it worse
They've already been banned from 2026.They’re already in the Olympics.

Not the hockey team. They’re already in the Olympics.
Let’s see how long it takes Edmonton to sign Carter Hart…Today is the day the Canadian hockey players will be found not guilty for the sexual assault trial.
To the piece of shit who hates all women- remember that the most compelling evidence was not allowed in the trial at all.
Now go back to torturing your own sad little family in Maine
The WJC tournament has never done well in the U.S. unless it's within an easy drive of Canada. Even the second year in Buffalo did poorly because the southern Ontario market had been saturated with this tournament at that time.World junior organizers are pushing to sell more tickets, as they are apparently behind where they wanted to be.
It’s not complicated
The pricing is outrageous. And there are still no single game tickets on sale.
This area would sell out every game, they truly appreciate this hockey, but the prices are legit insane.
You may disagree but I think mn will do a lot better than other us places. And well, not a long drive for all da hosersThe WJC tournament has never done well in the U.S. unless it's within an easy drive of Canada. Have you seen prices? You have to buy the entire tournament. Thats my point- as soon as single game tickets go on sale it becomes a lot cheaperYeah, but if it's going to sell well anywhere in the US, I feel like MSP would be it if the price is right. HS/prep and junior hockey culture & interest in MN is a step or two above most other areas in the US, even Massachusetts.
Am I reading correctly that it's over $2k/pp for the tournament all-access pass?Have you seen prices? You have to buy the entire tournament. Thats my point- as soon as single game tickets go on sale it becomes a lot cheaper
The cheapest single group package is five times the cost of last year's MSU season tickets.Am I reading correctly that it's over $2k/pp for the tournament all-access pass?Egads! I would've figured several hundred, and even that is still too much for the average person with a kid or two who wants to see it.
It does look like they have an option to only buy Group A or Group B games, but that's still pricey. They definitely need to put single games on sale.
Better is relative. You may disagree but I think mn will do a lot better than other us places. And well, not a long drive for all da hosers
You lower price, tons of tickets get sold. I’ve been volunteering with the organizers for a while. I don’t know any gopher season ticket holders who have bought any yet because those were due and most people won’t drop 1400 on wj package
It’ll be interesting. We are all Swedish up here so I think some of the other games will do well. At least that’s what my jet lagged brain has for nowBetter is relative.
The USA games will sell out. Especially in MN. But what about the Canadian games? The other games?
I'll put a friendly bet that MN will not do as well as the first year in Buffalo. That tournament did great, including the non-North American games. Though, I will admit the prices, which weren't super cheap, jumped a lot from that first year.
(Having said that, for locations away from Canada, I do agree MN has the best chance of doing better than other locations.)
That has nothing to do with the location though nor local fans, and I imagine current price packages are a lot more outrageous than they were the first time in Buffalo even accounting for inflation.Better is relative.
