The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I’m with you on this, Poirier is not the issue, he’s a skill player but he back checks and isn’t afraid to be physical. Barr’s presser is telling and speaks exactly to what we’re all saying, it’s not a character issue with an individual, it’s a team character issue. They don’t have the same...
was Maine the better team tonight? Maybe…. But still a far cry from what they should be. They don’t play 60 minutes and can’t find goals when they need them. I really want to believe in the team we have because I know the talent is there but they are unbelievably frustrating.
Great win and split after Friday’s meltdown. Praying for Langlois and hoping we get some additional positive updates soon.
I’m usually bummed when this team has weekends off but this team has stressed me to the point that I’m looking forward to it. Everyone have a great thanksgiving!
I know Barr says it’s a coaching issue but I just don’t see it. You can yell and scream and guys to try to make them want to do the little things but at the end of the day they have to care about it. I have no doubts about the coaching staff trying to drill this into the guys but so it’s just...
Maine hasn’t played poorly, just not converting and giving up too many easy chances for BC. Still in this game but will need a special effort in the third.
Whacky game last night, at no time did Maine really get dominated but the game just kept slipping away from them. Felt like the boys got a bit frustrated when they didn’t get the early goals they probably deserved.
The penalties have to be addressed which I’m sure they will with some healthy...
Rough 5 minute or so stretch for Maine but thought they were solid for the rest of the period. The goals will come, just need to tighten up defensively and cut out the bad penalties.
