Wisconsin Badgers '26-'27 season: Finishing what we started

I'll take it. That was a burner, and Bucky dominated the 2nd and 3rd periods and even OT. Let's finish them off on Sat!

Also, listening to Clymer drone on about MN while not even knowing sometimes WI players just gets old. Be professional, you bozo.

I'm fired up and just watched the highlight reel from when Bucky won the Broadmoor Trophy in 2013. I know we talk a lot of crap about the cycle of the Eaves teams, but I put that team in the same cat as the Reinprecht/Heatley team. Both super talented and just got completely caught with their pants down at the worst time in the NCAAs.

The 2012-13 team was pretty deep and, while not the most overpowering, was super fun to watch.

Back when you could buy the sports package on cable and watch as much college hockey on all the Fox Sports regoinal networks you could possibly want. Those were the days.

Not to be the asshole blaming the refs, but maybe a soft 5 minute major and ejection for Deering.

With that being said, I can’t blame the refs for erring on the side of safety after last weekend, and I’m glad Whipple wasn’t hurt from the play.

If he would have been put head first into the boards, then absolutely. He went in parallel. It def was a penalty for boarding, but the end result wasn't a safety disaster, and that's what should make the difference between a 2 min boarding call and a 5 min major, much less a game misconduct.

Wisconsin looked every bit as great as their ranking! It’s been years since I’ve seen a Wisconsin team so thoroughly outplay the rodents.

Hopefully it’s more of the same Saturday. Usually when you outshoot your opponent 42-17 you’re going to win about 4-1.

But Di Pasquo was out of his mind last night.
