They need to build a new rink off campus that holds 5000 with ample parking. This is ridiculous. Is there room on the Dane County Coliseum campus for another rink? Or how about tear that down and put the women's rink there. And put a hotel attached to the rink. Then they can start hosting ncaa FF games.

People who take public transportation don't have issues with parking. Madison also has world class biking infrastructure. Be proud of what we have.

I had looked into this once because we drive in from Baraboo. It's a good idea but in reality becomes a bit impractical. There is a Park & Ride on the far west side on Junction Road, but the bus service is more limited on evenings and weekends. Plus, to arrive at LaBahn an hour (or slightly more) early, we would need to perfectly catch a bus with plenty of time to spare coming in. Park and Ride lots are set up for commuters to work or for people who don't have a fixed timetable ("let's go to the Children's Museum today"). They aren't so practical for women's hockey fans. A more practical alternative might be to find a parking spot in Middleton or in the Hilldale area (which we pass on our way in) and take a bus from there.

I bought extra tickets for a family gathering for the Natty banner drop and have no idea when we'll have either those single game tickets or my season tickets. Does the person behind the curtain have a mysterious reason for keeping us in suspense or is it the AD's usual incompetence at work?

Good news for you!

I received an email just this afternoon (Sept 24th) saying that tickets will be available for download on Sept 23rd, and a second email will come when they are ready.

Seriously, you can't make this stuff up! LOL

I just checked: the tickets for the BU series are still not available for download, etc.

An hour after that first email, a second email came, telling me tickets were available for download. So I checked again. And during the last twenty minutes, my "magic" season ticket can now be downloaded. But the other single-game ticket I bought for a friend for BU is still not downloadable.
