The ramps are high crash locations and the ADT through there is 20k+ trips per day along Hogan Road. It's pretty in line with where Diverging Diamonds are considered. That said, I haven't been through there in years so I can't speak to the delay. The Broadway bridges started during Covid, they lost a fall and winter due to weather. The traffic there is a nightmare, they should be done by winter and then we get Cianbro doing 2 bridges over Stillwater ave and the Diamond interchange is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist especially when the mall is dead.
Their from mass or CT i believe.Contractors in Eastern Maine seems a bit....slow.
Add the i95 kenduskeag ave bridge it starts next year 2027, last I heard. LolThe Broadway bridges started during Covid, they lost a fall and winter due to weather. Really great job and site. Thank-you!Not bridge related (sorry!) but really happy to let everyone know that my Black Bears history site is live a bit ahead of schedule.

Definitely appreciate the feedback a few of you gave on the preview site. I still have a few bits of data that I'll be adding in the weeks leading up to puck drop, as well as a few other features I have roadmapped that I'll get to as I find time. I've tried to make this as comprehensive as possible, so a lot of research hours poured into this, both when it comes to the past but also the future as well.
There are a few sections of the site that I'll keep updated throughout the season, namely the Depth Chart and Recruiting Pipeline.
Web building is new territory for me so if things are slightly janky my apologies in advance. I've tried to keep this as optimized for mobile as possible but definitely a better experience on desktop.
Good work tyler, hope you keep at it.Not bridge related (sorry!) but really happy to let everyone know that my Black Bears history site is live a bit ahead of schedule.

If people can't get on and off hogan rd they shouldn't be driving. The south bound off ramp from Stillwater ave is place of concern as there is a 2 lane bridge where one would normally merge and oops no more lane. The ramps are high crash locations and the ADT through there is 20k+ trips per day along Hogan Road. It's pretty in line with where Diverging Diamonds are considered. That said, I haven't been through there in years so I can't speak to the delay.
Football played but 5 home games last season, averaged 4,315 in attendance, and was one game away from the tournament...If Maine had a real football team that averaged more than a few hundred fans a game...
Ok my last bridge comment, maybe, sitting here thinking about engineering marvels.
Look up the west white rose offshore oil project in NL, a favorite of mine Ive been watching for a few years. Impressive and expensive. And we cant build a bridge over the Stillwater river in less than ???? years. Goes to show how infrastructure costs just arent important anymore.

Yes, there's a contingent on here that wants all the money funneled to hockey, but I don't see that ever happening.
Football, for decades now, has been more relevant than hockey, on-average. There has existed no other program in Orono over that span that has had a realistic shot at a NC more frequently. Period.
I would like to see that change, but facts is facts as of now.
That was a good Maine team, I'd have taken the Bears +40, as would've anyone with a functioning brain. There wasn't a single season in the last 50 years in which Maine had a realistic chance to win a football national title, even the year they went to the semifinals. North Dakota State would have beaten that team by 40.
Nice work. My favorite stats lead by the infamous top four :Not bridge related (sorry!) but really happy to let everyone know that my Black Bears history site is live a bit ahead of schedule.
