Greed and Greed not known for safety. My guess is they cut corners and didn't put in all the required bracing for the beams supporting the deck placement. Sometimes you might get away with it, other times not.....like yesterday. Luckily no one killed. There would be no composite beams involved here. All steel as this sounds like a design/build DOT project.....lacking a little in the design aspects, lol. And so close to the UMO campus....though nothing to do with them, how embarrassing for a school known for its engineering prowess to have this happen. OSHA needs to investigate Reed and Reed I would say.
