Sure seems that Blue Origin is going to beat them to a lunar lander.
And SX is lucky that they managed to hold on to the engineers who did their current workhorse long enough to be reliable. They have lost a lot since.

IINM the PTD-3/TBIRD cubesat wireless comms went offline and JSC's advice was "Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on."

We knew of:
- Apollo 8 patch design on silk screen printing flown on Apollo 8.
- Prerecorded welcome message from Jim Lovell.
- Challenger legacy hardware stowed away.
Now, they dug out of storage the preserved flag from the cancelled Apollo 18 moon landing.

All that really will do in the long run is harm them. vaccines, clean water, clean air, decent healthcare, etc.
What we have to do is make sure we are safe and ok, and then try to explain anyone who might be curious what is really going on.

Given how fast they are coming in, they have to make sure of a lot of stuff.Checking through the splashdown procedure review. There is A LOT of stuff to do.

What's funny is they are planning a skip on the atmosphere, but we "learned" that was bad in the Apollo 13 movie.

Seems like they're using the physics of grilling: high heat for a short burst, sear the outside but keep the inside juicy and pink instead of prolonged heat but lower temp, cooked throughout.
