2026 NCAA TOURNAMENT MEGA-THREAD: THE ROAD TO UTICA

While it won’t be “packed”, I think you’ll see a good crowd in Utica.

There will be casuals there. Hamilton and Hobart should bring could crowds with proximity.

Be interesting to see what shows up for Aurora and Stout.

I’m excited to see how it plays out. Hard to argue these aren’t the four best teams. Should be a great weekend.

Hamilton is only 10 miles from the Nexus Center. Almost like being home.

Surprised by Utica score given their SOG advantage. The Stout goalie must be very good. Congrats to Stout on first FF appearance since 2009
Hobart had their hands full with the Green Nights, but in the end , winning a ticket to the FF was the goal.
Hamilton looks good as the “other” NY team making it, as the NESCAC always should expect a place .
Aurora is not a surprise to me as the West looked strong this year and battling a 2 OT win shows some mental toughness.
It should be a great FF even if the ticket is easier to get than last year.

Does the Hobart broadcast use a 360 camera with software that automatically pans to the action? It took a few minutes to get used to but it's a surprisingly good system.

A little off topic but when I was a kid I remember the Comets were the Clinton Comets. We could pick up the games on the radio in Carthage, NY
Let’s see how far back you really go. 😛 Do you remember one of Clinton’s opponents being the Long Island Ducks? That was my team.
