2026 NCAA TOURNAMENT MEGA-THREAD: THE ROAD TO UTICA

If Emmanuel and Simmons ever started hockey and played for the national title they would win. They are literally right next to each other.

Alfred and Alfred State being across the street from each other too.
I believe Wilkes has a counterpart like this.

And there are two D3 schools in California that literally use the same campus. Their football rivalry is a hoot. The d3football.com podcast always talks about it.

(I wouldn't be the official asshole of this site if I didn't say this much:)

We sat in the top row of Section 101. Should have been good seats, but that area and 102 were -for some reason- completely infested with Hobart kids.

We had no problem with their general enthusiasm, their chants, etc,. But we had HUGE problems with their utter ignorance of hockey-fan etiquette.

They tried to hijack our seats, they walked around during live play, jumped up and down like jack-in-the-boxes whenever they felt like it, and completely obstructed the view of many people behind them with astounding frequently.

We were forced to watch much of the game, including the winning goal, on the Jumbo, due to that fact. Perhaps they should be required to pass some sort of competency at an actual arena, before they're allowed into another one.
