St. Norbert General

Thanks for sharing the video. The SNB kid put a great move on UNE Keeper and scored a great goal. You couldn’t see down the line, so couldn’t tell if it was off-side or not. What I find curious about the review is that usually it’s the linesman who make the determination on the review. It seemed as though they couldn’t, or were in willing to make the call, which indicates to me, it must have been very close. Anyone else have an opinion?

In any case, a great win by St Norbert. If they get to Utica, they will have been “battle-proven” and they will have earned it.

Also, here in Maine, I lost the feed right before the final 5 minutes or so! No matter what I did, I couldn’t get it back, which made the end so frustrating.
More likely that the only angle they had was from center ice and there was no definitive view. If you watch the angle they had (https://x.com/sncathletics/status/2033051665050268068) it looks onsides.

Some information about the video stream dropping on Saturday, and to close the loop on this...If you were watching on the NCAA Champs Pass, you were able to continue watching the feed according to people who were watching through that method. If you were watching through the general NCAA site, then that stream was dropped. Obviously, our stream never stopped outputting to where it needed to go. Not sure how that feed was dropped but it was not from the St. Norbert end based on the fact it was available through the Champs Pass.

Note to self...use Champs Pass on Saturday...

Unless there was a phantom winger on the right boards entering the zone, that wasn’t even close to an offside. Hard to understand why the linesmen asked the referees to look at the tape.

Also, not only did the SNC forward make a great move on the goalie, he stole the d-man’s jock as he went by him!

Wait until you hear that it was a defenseman who scored the winner!

Thanks for the final update.
