The Countries: Forget it, Burkina Faso, Michigan is still the worst.

There is some smoke with this, but every account seems to be very dubious. Given that its been floating out there for 1/2 a day now, I'm guessing the answer is no.

WHOA!

I researched this 8 months ago and were it not for my great grandmother being naturalized (barely) before my grandmother's 18th birthday I would have had a valid claim chaining all the way back to the 1880s. It was a wildly liberal qualification where something like 75M people worldwide could theoretically have claimed. There are only 60M Italians!

Apparently this rumor has been floated several times.

Though this time around I am seeing that his brother died in a missile attack. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got to shake hands with the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada today. She was handing out the medals for my sport at the Arctic Winter Games in Whitehorse and was thanking us officials afterwards.

Lots of dignitaries from around the Arctic here, including all the Premiers from the Canadian territories, the ambassadors from Greenland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland plus Canada’s Governor General of course.

Alaska’s Governor showed up for the opening ceremony at least, so there was at least some representation. US Ambassador for Canada was here too but I don’t think either of them attended the political meetings.
