Dump Term 2 Part 3: "But I Say Unto You, Hate Thy Enemies." -- Revulsions 5:44

ICE creates international incident by invading sovereign Ecuadorian soil.

Don’t sleep on skin color. That matters too.
That's just it...if anything these past few weeks have shown us, with two 37-year-old white people being murdered in broad daylight with zero consequences despite multiple eyewitnesses, is that the current federal government doesn't give a shit what color you are anymore, if you so much as oppose the public assault of another human being by this federal government by stepping in between an agent of the government and the person said agent is publicly beating, you are subject to a public execution and immediate public slandering of your name by that federal government. Alex Pretti was a white man, and they still killed him. Same with Renee Good. What we're dealing with now goes beyond skin color, in my opinion.

I watched the video. Omar was ready to fuck his ass up. Man I wish she would have. I won't claim to know who the woman in the suit was but she was telling Omar to "calm down." Fuck no, motherfucker. Someone just sprayed something at me while I'm denouncing ICE I'm going to kick that motherfucker's ass.

She gets booted from Congress if she does that, guaranteed. Enough Dems would absolutely cross over to do that.

Asked by an ABC reporter whether he had seen the footage, which shows Omar being sprayed with the mystery liquid by her assailant, Trump suggested that the incident was a plot concocted by Omar herself.

“No. I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud. I really don’t think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her.”

After the reporter asked a second time whether he had seen the footage, the president replied, “I haven’t seen it. No, no. I hope I don’t have to bother.”

People were fired for saying things like this about he who shall not be named. It only matters what jersey you have on. Nothing else matters. The United States ceases to exist as it once did. It's now an authoritarian regime run by a cabal of billionaire's and their puppet who has complete control over the facade of a divided government with checks and balances.

This is accurate. They were doing this in my hometown yesterday after the supposed "reset" which is utter and complete bullshit.

700 people showed up to Trump's rally while an estimated 2000 showed up outside in 15 degree weather to protest. In a lily white suburb of Des Moines that is more maroon than purple.

Sad energy. Weak. Limp.

If that area turns blue, the Dems may finally regain some power at the state level.

theyre' still terrorizing bus stops and daycares near me

Meh. 2% inflation is a sign of a healthy economy. Those numbers show about 3-4% inflation on average over the 75-year period, thanks mainly to the 70s, which is higher than optimal but not exactly Zimbabwe levels.

The bigger issue is that minimum wage hasn't kept up with inflation at all.
I assume it's adjusted for inflation

Key Historical Dollar Value Milestones (Adjusted for Inflation)
  • 1800–2026: $1 in 1800 is equivalent to approximately $25.72 in 2026.
  • 1913–2020: The purchasing power of $1 dropped to less than 4 cents, meaning $1 in 1913 was worth $26.14 in 2020.
  • 1978–2026: $1 in 1978 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $4.97 today, representing a 396.9% cumulative price increase.
  • 1980–2026: $1 in 1980 is equivalent to about $3.93 today.
  • 2000–2026: $1 in 2000 is equivalent to about $1.88 today, an 88.22% cumulative increase.
  • 2021–2026: $1 in 2021 is equivalent to roughly $1.20 today, a 19.62% cumulative increase.
Factors Affecting Value
  • Inflation Rates: High inflation years, such as 1863 (24.75%) or periods in the late 1970s/early 1980s, rapidly eroded the dollar's value.
  • Recent Trends: Between 2022 and 2026, high inflation resulted in $1 in 2022 being worth only $1.11 by 2026.
  • Consumer Price Index (CPI): The data generally relies on the Bureau of Labor Statistics CPI-U data, which tracks the cost of living for urban consumers.
Value of $1 Over Time
  • 1913: $1.00
  • 1980: $0.25 (approx.)
  • 2000: $0.53 (approx.)
  • 2020: $0.04 (approx.)
  • 2026: $0.038 (approx.

The dollar depreciates because that is literally essential for the petro dollar economy to function.

The goldbugs and libertarians think we print money for welfare queens. They are wrong. We print money so there is enough washing around for the Saudis' customers to denominate their oil purchases in it. The dollar's depreciation is how the rich use the federal government to drain the wealth of the American middle class so that Saudi princes can be rich so that oil can move freely through the world running the system whereby the rich use the federal government...

This seemed like a good idea to Nixon. But fifty years of it has created the present situation. Government investment in people could have ameliorated it, but since Reagan all we do is invest in the military to foment crises so the military needs to expand to meet the growing needs of the military.

Those are the inflation adjustments. The change in spending power of a unit is currency is the literal definition of inflation/deflation.

If you're saying those numbers account for inflation and then show additional loss of value, that doesn't make sense. That'd be essentially measuring inflation-squared.
