Well since we can never seem to win down there, it will be a challenge. The good news is that the tickets we get for that game get us into their VIP section. Anyone else going down? Ref?Hey, all that we need to do is sweep Merrimack this weekend and we flip the Warriors for eight place in HEA with a couple games in hand for home ice in the MBPBEGAM game.
Fluffer does have a connection, at least to the head coach. I see he has been posting his 'interference' lately to distract from the real issues. He likes to frustrate, unless he is Fluffing. He was a bad teammate and I’ll stand by that. Sorry you don’t have connections and have no inside information.
I presume a fair number of us on this board are former students at UNH. Speaking for myself, who attended UNH when the wheels started to fall off near the end of the Umile era, there was nothing that myself (and a fair number of other students) wanted more than a competitive and successful hockey team.Fluffer does have a connection, at least to the head coach. Heard the student section was chanting for a new coach. Those fans stuck in the 1950's as well? They must think Rube Bjorkman will be walking back thru the door?
Yep but we dont have those tickets. See you thereWell since we can never seem to win down there, it will be a challenge. The good news is that the tickets we get for that game get us into their VIP section. Anyone else going down? Ref?
Well, we could have become a great soccer school, like UVM, but we let our best coach in any sport at UNH, who grew up in Durham, leave for greener pastures.I presume a fair number of us on this board are former students at UNH. In the grand scheme of things, college is a relatively short period of time (different for everyone, but lets average it out to 4 years) and every year the hockey team stinks is ~25% of a given students time at school. None of these students have had a chance while at college to cheer for UNH at the Garden, or in the NCAAs - I think that is very unfortunate, and I can certainly understand their frustration at continued losing seasons, lack of progress, and early playoff exits (often away games in the first round, so they can’t even experience a playoff atmosphere…) Heck, aren’t most of (or all?) of us pretty frustrated about this?!
UNH is a rather unique school in that hockey really is the marquee sport (some may argue football, but when you compare with FBS programs, it’s not really a debate in my opinion). You could make an argument that a lot of the BIG10 schools are football/basketball schools. UConn and Providence are certainly basketball schools. UVM may even be a basketball school now, given their sustained success in America East. That’s not the case at UNH, which I think the school could really use to their advantage to recruit the best coach and the best players. Basically saying “if you are good and win, you’re gonna be royalty here”. I imagine that is rather enticing for some players/coaches.
Anyways, just my 2 cents. Hopefully the AD was listening to the students and if we basically lose out, she starts to put into motion a plan to move on from MS7.
Like HR alluded to, I think this weekend is huge. If we get swept again this weekend (or only pick up 1 point) who else are we beating looking into February/March?!
I read it. You are replying to that post not the one before. I’m asking you to prove when she posted about Conmy prior. You can’t so you name call and deflect. I guarantee she has more insight into this team that your demented mind has.You are unable to read Emily's post. You are dumb, dumb, dumb.....
The team they got smoked by was pretty pretty good.... But Merrimack got smoked in the first round of NCAAs. FWIW, Merrimack's backroom facilities are better than UNH.
Hate to break this to you Em ... but the Fuddruckers VIP section across Route 114 has been closed for a few years nowThe good news is that the tickets we get for that game get us into their VIP section. Anyone else going down? Ref?
Heartbreaking, actually. Now UVM has since won a D-1 title in Men's Soccer, and NC State (Hubbard's new home) made the Finals last season, he will make it to the top soon enough. And you will be doing your usual lament, as in "Why can't UNH ever get people like that? Oh, wait ... "Well, we could have become a great soccer school, like UVM, but we let our best coach in any sport at UNH, who grew up in Durham, leave for greener pastures.
We get access to their "bar". Which is $12 Coors Lights. Along with popcorn and Doritos.Hate to break this to you Em ... but the Fuddruckers VIP section across Route 114 has been closed for a few years now![]()

What the he11 did he expect ... these guys were his teammates; he left them in the lurch for $ome ca$h. Was he expecting flowers and/or hugs?!?Upset that UNH players did not say hi to him in the handshake line on Friday night
Yes, I'm sure this late activity is not going over well in certain corners. Once The Fluffer stops fluffing MS7, we may be in big trouble ...Not sure if that will be more upsetting than posting after curfew though.
We speculate about coaching, locker rooms, and transfers all the time here (which seems to give you a great deal of oxygen). Not sure why this situation is so off limits. I agree with Emily. You do not offer any fan support to the collective (coach, players, fans), which is far worse (according to your gatekeeper rules) than your accusations. You are unable to read Emily's post. What you are really saying is that this group of players cannot win because they aren't talented enough. I disagree wholeheartedly.Yes, I go Emily. The difference between us is I support the team constructively and honestly and recognize that the players are amateurs and the head coach is a decent guy working for a financially troubled institution run by mediocre people in a deeply regressive state.
You smear and attack players personally - see Conmy. You are the type of fan every player hates.
Well I deleted my post saying what a slap in the face it has to be for our team when some people say publicly UNH cant compete because they cant buy / entice the best players or our best players go elsewhere....We speculate about coaching, locker rooms, and transfers all the time here (which seems to give you a great deal of oxygen). Northeastern coach Jerry Keefe texted Souza after Sunday’s game, expressing that he was impressed by what the Wildcats are doing offensively.
And able to stay head coach longer than they should have because they got paid way below the league average.
Visibly in the arena or he expressed that to folks you heard from?Upset that UNH players did not say hi to him in the handshake line on Friday night
