Mookie thought he heard some in-depth reporter ask him if he was studying, and beck answered no, that he graduated 2 yrs ago??

The ncaa just needs to kick these conferences out and let them do their own thing. Have the other real (italics) conferences play for an ncaa championship.

He said he wasn’t taking classes in the sense he was going towards another degree. He still had classes, but wasn’t going to enroll spring semester and he wasn’t going to be able to complete another program. I don’t know why he responded the way he did, but he’s at least been taking classes in the academic sense.

No way. 16 to remove the bye issue. Speed up the timeline so the championship is earlier in January. Remove conference championship games and force Army Navy to play a week earlier if they want a chance at the tournament.

From a business standpoint, the NFL will be a problem for one of the weeks, since the semis would probably fall on one of the NFL playoff weekends. But other than that, exhaustion from fans for college football. I know this year was the most watched ever, but that's because of Indiana.

As for the players being paid, I saw a brief comment that the Mami QB graduated a few years ago, and has not attended classes since then....

I don't care about the business standpoint. I just want a playoff with the teams that earned a right to be there through winning their conference and however many extra teams it takes to equal 16/24 to fill out the bracket. I don't watch sports to care about the shareholder values.
