They definitely needed to tighten things like that up, but the goaltending never gave me a lot of hope in this tournament. Not that I had much to start with, just not a strong group this year.

I would have picked Slovakia over the Canucks, but 1. Canada has looked better each game and 2. I woudln't bet on them losing in the quarters 3 years in a row.

I'm at the game, and as you may imagine, the canadians are enjoying the US loss. "Siri, play Free bird" and "rest in piss" have been shouted a zillion times already.

TSN is at least watchable when Canada isn't playing. US networks aren't since every game without the US is a tedious string of infantilizing US features and jingoist stupidity because they know their audience. "They took err jerbs!"
