USCHO Music: From Queen to The Beatles to Lady Gaga

God bless Warren Zevon.

I need a truck to hold my pain
I need a truck just to haul around my name
I need a truck to haul all the womens from my bed
I need a truck to haul my body when I'm dead

I need a truck to haul all my guns to town
I need a truck to haul my bad thoughts around
I need a truck to haul my Percodan and gin
And I need a truck to haul all my trucks in

JJ Cale - Sensitive Kind. I hadn't listened to him for a minute, but the song played during the season ending montage of The Lowdown. Truly wonderful stuff.

Kep I don't take this seriously and your ad homs are simply couched in what you think is clever speak. Let it go for once and have a good night.

As a long time fan of New Order I'm a bit embarrassed I never came across this performance before. Sunrise - Live at the Hacienda 1985

Incredible energy.
Back in my Bittorrent days, maybe about 15 years ago or so, I was getting a bunch of live shows. I think at that time there were about 48 known live recordings of New Order shows. I have, I think, 44 of them, either burned to cd, or still on my PC waiting to be converted from Flac to WAV so they can be burned to cd.

I probably have that show somewhere. There were a bunch of shows recorded from the Hacienda.

Sadly, I will no longer pay money to go see New Order. Without Hooky, it's not the same. I did go see Peter Hook and the Light about 8 years ago, and the show was great, even if I missed his son, who was out touring with Smashing Pumpkins at the time. Would go see them again anytime.

Saw New Order twice back in the day. First show was a disaster, they had all sorts of technical problems and cut the show short. Looked around when the lights came up, and there was about 30 cops all in riot gear lining the back wall of the theater. I didn't see any rioting, but the show gets a mention in Hooky' s book that there were some incidents outside the theater.

Second show a year or so later was just brilliant. These would have probably been the Low-life and Brotherhood tours.
