US Foreign Policy 4.0: making the world safe to flee to if the MAGAts win here

The best part of that quote is how many MAGAs it will trigger because they don't realize America is comprised of more than just the United States.

You may be technically correct (the best kind of correct)...

And yet... and yet... call a Canadian or a Mexican an American and you'll either be in the box for 5 minutes for fighting or given a red card for unsportsmanlike conduct.

People who want to call a citizen of the United States a "United Statesian" instead of American because the latter is exclusionary are dipshiats of the highest magnitude. My sister-in-law is one of them. Don't be like my sister-in-law.

I would never say that...but everyone that is on either of the American Continents are Americans. Just because we co-opted the term doesnt change the meaning of words. (As you know)

Just like every French Citizen is a European but not every European is French the same holds true for the US and America.

I think you missed where I was coming from which Handy succinctly summarized. No I would never think to call a Canadian 'American".
