NFL 25-26: Blame The Refs for this Thread Title

Did everyone enjoy the fox team sucking off their Orange God in the booth?
I muted it, and tried to find something else to watch. I really hate watching Faux as a TV channel- they just cover you with BS lies and "rah rah USA" shows that just sickens me.

I hate watching my team's FB games on Saturday, too. Just makes me cringe.

I'm going to be optimistic of these Lions today. The D is as much infirmary as it is players- but the back ups (and the back ups to them) seem to be getting the ideas. The number of obnoxious open players was down, and the coverage was much closer- Mariottoa made some great passes, and the catches were just as good- only needing some tweaks to the coverage to prevent the catches. So perhaps we will have more depth as the season goes on? Maybe?

Going to kind of dismiss the offensive change- that has to hold up over multiple weeks where they are making sure the stars get to be the stars.

The Lions beat a team that didn't have their starting QB and the Commanders defense took some dumb penalties. Those are my only takeaways from today's game.

Campbell calling plays was the thing I noticed most.

I get that, but just seeing the D backs be considerably closer to the receivers seems to be a big improvement- the back ups seemed a lot less confused. They still have a long way to go- but progress is progress. And, to me, that's the biggest weak point of the team.

BTW, it's really nice to see Matt Stafford remind everyone why he has always been in the conversation for the HOF. And at the same time, Rogers try to play his way out.

New York Giants coach Brian Daboll is out after the team blew another double-digit lead on Sunday in Chicago, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

It was the second time this season they lost after leading by at least 10 points with under four minutes remaining. They became just the second team since the NFL merger to do that, joining only the 2004 Seattle Seahawks.

When you kick a field goal on fourth down from the 1 foot line when the TD puts you up 14 you deserve to lose. Granted, it’s the Giants so we all knew they were going to lose, however, you don’t kick a field goal there. That was actually the worst decision of all in that situation.
