I was meaning this game. I’ve seen enough seasons to know they can turn it around. But man, they have a long way to go. This team can obviously put it in the net. Can they keep it out of our own enough? It’s early.

You guys have phenomenal individual talents......goaltending and team speed?.....not so much. In the future.....Pandolfo & Co. may want to concentrate on building a TEAM rather than just collecting draft picks.

the third line had a good game at least?
no, seriously. the only terriers with over 2 shots were Hutson (4), Merrill (5), and Svoboda (7!!). the two even strength goals both came from Merrill and Svoboda. boda was the only one above .500 in the dot at 15-10, took the most faceoffs of anyone. the penalty trouble likely has a lot to do with that since he’s a big part of the PK. that was also a bright spot, only giving up 1 and scoring twice shorthanded, though it would probably be preferable to not have to kill 7 power plays in the first place…
boda had 9 points as a freshman, and he put up 4 points in one game tonight. ideally he isn’t the one driving the offense, but it’s reassuring to see what he can do when the top 6 goes flat.
for all that they got outworked in multiple areas of the ice last night, they did block 27 shots.

Tv guys said umo had 90 shot attempts…..which is a shitload of puck control in the terriors defensive zone.

If its any consolation your second goalie (i sit right behind the net up top) made some fantastic saves on the Powerplay that got overlooked by the score. Easily saved 2 other goals
