UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

Poirier looking a bit like Brad Nadeau, as expected. Like Brad he is looking for the one timed shots which he is great at. Also like Bradley, he has a deceptive quick release on his wristers. Like Bradley he needs playmaker to feed him passes… enter Josh Nadeau. That’s why I think over time these two might remind us of the 2Nadeaus of two seasons back when they were freshmen.

This is going to be exciting. Add to that Lipinski/Marques combination and you can see a real good top two lines developing.
 
I don’t think Maine’s play has been good in their own end. Kind of sloppy. Guys falling down easy and coughing up the puck. Turnovers by the D men from time to time. That one by Nobes was ugly.
