And let's not forget, a person who has war crimes charges out there against him. I doubt Krasnov would try and arrest his daddy....

The admin has billed this as a listening session. Putin will talk, stroke Krasnov's ego, and Krasnov will fold..... Putin knows how to play Krasnov, he has been doing it since his KGB days in the 80s when the president got his Soviet code name.

I don’t think he could do it. There is no method for a state leaving the Union. Yet.

I can’t imagine that any other state would allow it. If people think such an action wouldn’t cause a huge schism for this nation, then they’re either deep in Trump’s pockets or high on what he’s selling. His fringe supporters would step away in a heartbeat. He’d be selling off an entire state’s worth of citizens and assets.

Dump is senile and egotistical enough it wouldn’t matter what the legalities or consequences are to him. Plus it would please Daddy Poots.

To be fair, the chances are pretty low.

But not zero.

None of his supporters will walk away no matter what. they will gobble up whatever he tells them. He will cook up some BS about how Russia has historical rights to the land, how liberal and communists are running rampant and how he cut a great deal and Putin paid through the nose.

Hell he will talk about "Seward's Folly" and the morons who never studied will eat it up!

Nothing is going to get these people to turn away.
