I reminded a friend of mine before the Clarkson game about last year's game vs St Lawrence: you look at the web sites, and they will tell you UW won 4-0. But that St Lawrence game was 1-0 until into the third period.
 
I'm an Edwards skeptic.

95% of the time, I just don't see it but a shot like that... yeah... that's a rare commodity.

So obviously, I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground. :D

Also... Team USA should drop Murphy and add O'Brien. A 5 minute major against Canada will lose any chance at a gold.

I can’t weigh in on OBrien vs Murphy, but she doesn’t do that stuff to this extent when wearing the USA jersey. It’s more pest vs the goonery she does in a Gopher jersey.

Edwards comes across as so sweet and likable… watching the interview they are airing now. Always cheering for her!
 
I like Edwards but the eye test is difficult.

It's like watching Knight in international games. Because of their size relative to the smaller. faster players, they don't look like they're moving out there.

Proof's in the pudding though and goal scoring is priceless.

Her shot from the point should be a boost for USA but I'm guessing she'll be the 5 or 6 D.

Murphy is cheap, plain and simple. I love sandpaper players in hockey and I value them on a team.

That said, she's crosses the line a lot.

That wasn't even a hit from behind. She was playing it up.

As a (former) player, you don't even notice that level of contact.

Certainly not to the point of laying on the ice like you've been shot.

2 minutes was the correct call.
