Give SNL another look. The last couple years it has had moments of cromulence. And Weekend Update with Mr. ScarJo and Not Kenan is wonderful.

Michael Che (not-Kenan) is a goddammed treasure. Outside of SNL, his stand up bits are excellent.

Meh if something is worth watching it makes the rounds...no need to watch a whole episode of mediocre stuff to get to the 2 clips that are worth it. That was fine when I was 12 but now the internet makes me more discerning.
I like individuals that are on it...but it just hasnt connected with me in quite some time.

And the deep dark secret is it always was. Even in the Golden Age the outro skit always sucked. Weekend Update is 100x better now than it was the first 20 years.
