So, who should we be rooting for?

I suppose that if UMass gets eliminated, Maine will have a pretty safe shot at Springfield..?

Not sure about the other game, but it seems to me that a BU win helps keep Maine East as well.

(I'm all for equitable seedings and sitings, but this time of year can make for strange bedfellows. Please tell me why I should feel good to pull against BU.););)

Those are the only prerequesites for pulling against BU

You root against BU (vs anyone but Minnesota and Notre Dame) because it's BU. You don't need any other reason. :-)
 
Not a bad first, but not a great one either. Pretty even, though I might give the slight edge to New Hampshire. I've seen B. Nadeau throw the body a few times here and make some nice backchecks, a good sign to see him engaged.
