You're not proving the point you think you are...

Please person who can't think for themselves, tell me what I think?

Its so encouraging those cities are just one law away from Utopia, one more program, one more virtue signal. The human lords that you bow down to want to fix it, care about the people in those cities and will protect everyone.

Wow. What a terrible tragedy that could have surely been prevented if only more good guys had guns. I mean, no shooter would knowingly go after someone, like say a police officer, if he thought there were guns around. I have definitely never, ever, especially not in this very story, heard of a bad guy doing something bad with a gun if he so much as thought that a good guy had a gun.

A cop died, most likely by ambush. In no scenario did "Good guy with a gun stopped a cop from being ambushed."

The cop’s death, by ambush, is a tragedy. But I’m yet to see where anyone made the claim it could’ve been prevented (see: ambush).

I do see in the second link the following:

Arvada Police Chief Link Strate said Hurley is a true hero who likely disrupted what could have been a larger loss of life.

The part of my post that was in quotes, was in quotes because it was a direct quote, OF YOU!!!!! You literally posted "Good guy with a gun stopped a cop from being ambushed." Which is simply not true, so thanks for confirming that you're just lying with no freakin shame I guess. It simply isn't true, that didn't happen. It would be just as true as me saying, vigilante hero stops cop from murdering unarmed POC before being murdered by gun toting lunatic.

Fear of the good guy getting shot lol.

maybe everyone shouldn’t have the goddamn guns

Bad guy with a gun + good guy with a gun + cop with a gun = 3 people dead.

Bad guy without a gun + good guy without a gun + cop with a gun = 0 people dead.

Why am I supposed to be happy that the good guy has a gun, again?

You just can’t make it up sometimes.

dafuq?

Good guy with a gun stopped a cop from being ambushed (and probably stopped further violence).

Save whatever spin move you have in mind.

Welp, looks like the "good guy" with a gun was killed by the cops. So he didn't really prevent more deaths (seems the cops would have just shot the other guy with a gun had he not intervened), he caused his own. Good guy with a gun increased deaths by 1.

What? The story is pretty clear the bad guy would have shot
more people if the good guy didn’t intervene. He absolutely is a hero.
