Quinnipiac Bobcats 2022 Off-Season

I’m intrigued if Rand goes after anyone else in the portal, other than who we already know, as some more people have joined that are worth a look. I know the roster is filled out, but maybe some tough decisions like keeping a kid in juniors another year are on the horizon. Think if we add another stud or two we could really have a shot next year
 
Also we have another Bobcat in the NHL….JST is reffing the Sharks game tonight. Quite the rise in the referee world, only started last year. Maybe that explains why MacDonald is still in the ECAC…

The roster isn’t filled out yet IMO. I have one spot left for either Bongiovanni returning, a grad transfer or another incoming freshman that I probably have pegged for the following year.

My guess is with Ireland and NoDak we didn’t have enough room on the schedule for mor away games. ASU has 39 games I think. I guess with exempted trips and no league playoffs that’s allowed.

Looks like the Moose are in the playoffs so hopefully he gets some decent ice time over the last few RS games and gets himself a spot for the playoffs. He came back strong after last year’s injury so we know he’ll work hard. Hopefully Winnipeg gives him a chance at some point next year.

For those interested in seeing our former Bobcats in the AHL Playoffs, Springfield (Anas/Peca) plays Charlotte (Priskie) in the Atlantic Division Final.

Games 1 & 2 are in Springfield. Series starts Sunday.
 
Hi Bobcats,
Larries fan here, wondering if any of you can make sense to me out of Smilanic leaving for Wisco? He's a terrific player (and I'm actually pretty happy we won't face him at least twice next season).
Back a few years our team lost players because of the coaching fiasco, but your coach is terrific, well-respected by all--so that can't be it, can it? So, just a personal preference, or the chance at a different major? Not trying to troll here, but it sure seems as if this new transfer rule is more bad than good, with MANY players just opting for "greener" pastures.
