Not sure where to put this nugget- the judge in Kyle Rittenhouse's prosecution has declared that the people he shot can't be called victims. They can be called rioters or arsonists.

This seems like the logical place, but it could be spread out over a number of threads- cops, racism, etc.

If the data on Canada's voter turnout wiki is accurate, that's more than voted in any national election in Canada, other than 2019, when it was 18.3M voters.

And it's also almost half the entire population of Canada. Somehow they came over the closed border with the US and voted??

Damn cannucks- bunch of hosers.

Actually the death knell is in that same poll only 51% of Independents think it was "Free and Fair".

Then again it is a Politico Poll so the chances it has any legitimacy are pretty low. I am sure they are looking at a way to prove Hunter Biden stole the Election with his laptop. Politico is now owned by Germany's version of the Murdoch Empire.

I know I've brought this up at some point in the last couple of months, but I don't trust anyone who claims to be "independent" anymore. Identifying as an independent does not automatically mean that said person takes all facts and opinions into fair account before forming their own opinion. Lots of RWNJs have disaffiliated themselves from the Republican Party because they believe it's full of RINOs who are insufficiently loyal to Dump and his brand of fascism masquerading as conservatism. Same for a much smaller amount of diehard eurosocialists like Briana Joy Gray who supported Bernie and won't vote for anyone even slightly right of him.
 
Well Politico likely is interviewing old people who have no idea they are basically the NY Post now. Those people likely are closer to actual independent as they likely think all politicians are awful. That doesn't mean they don't vote one way or another just don't identify as doing so.

The Brianna Joy crowd probably think Andrew Yang is a smart choice...

Yeah, I have to write off any appreciation I've had for Andrew Yang. That ship has sailed. He's horrid.

I claim to be independent. I always have, but right now I am utterly disgusted by that which calls itself the Republican party, while I'm merely annoyed by that which calls itself the Democratic party.

Not that others who claim the "independent" banner aren't as you describe, but certainly not all of us.


I am absolutely not a Democrat, but right now they're far and away the least worst option. It's like comparing a head cold to TB. One stinks, the other will kill you.

FYP to a more appropriate comparison these days. Since that's the exact same comparison R's have been using for 2 years, in spite of over 700,000 US deaths.
