NHL 2019-20 #1: Where Toronto Plans To Win Without Playing Defense.

Yes, and now we have the social media concern trolls telling us all that it's not our responsibility to hold him accountable, and shame on the "keyboard warriors", and please think of the bully's mental health now, and "this is cAnCeL cUlTuRe!1!!11!", yadda yadda yadda.

No doubt nodak fans and thumpers have a go fund me for him shortly coupled with death threads to the disabled kid and his mom

Avs, Coyotes, Flames, Wild, the Whale, Devils are amazing

Don't like the Wild's. It's like twisting the knife.

I really liked Carolina's and I'd say that Colorado's would be my second favorite. Most of the rest were pretty meh for me.

I really like Buffalo's too.

Most look really well done. I think the misses are the Ducks, Blues, Red Wings, and Flames.

29/31 measure from good to great.

Carolina’s is great, but doesn’t really seem to fit the pattern. The theme of these was to add current colors to throwback (or a new jersey with throwback elements), or a few (like NJ) threw an old color scheme into the mix. Carolina just straight up took the Whalers jersey.

Oilers and Islanders don’t appear much different than their regular ones, but those logos and color schemes always look good so who cares.

Winnipeg’s grey and blue just doesn’t work for the same reason anthracite doesn’t work on a lot of jerseys. For whatever reason designers like to keep the darker colors of the scheme and substitute anthracite for a lighter color, and it subdues everything.

For Detroit, I figured they’d have issues with only red and white to play around with, but that final product is disappointing. Looks like a practice jersey.

Anaheim went there and it’s fabulous.

Dallas and Detroit screwed up royally.

Colorado’s is a crime against humanity.

Looks like a decent amount teams tried out grey for some reason. Didn't work out with most of them, including Detroit.

I hate that it's likely going to dredge back up the debate to change the name to North Stars. It's been more than 20 years... honestly why can't people let it go?

And yet the Centennial jersey was perfect. I wanted to like the Red Wings, but it's just a summary of the last four years: uninspired.

The Colorado jersey is amazing. And I hate the Avs. But burgandy works so well with the Nordiques logo.

I wondered what the reception to the Wild jersey would be. I figured for some that is still a fresh wound, others would like the (finally) call back to the North Stars. I fall into the "I kinda like it" camp with those.

The Dallas Stars jersey, as eloquently put on Facebook, looks like a cheerleader outfit with the star stripe at the bottom to break up the white.

Jets is just a Valspar color palette sample. And awful at that. No homage to the Thrashers?

Glad to see Wild Wing back for the Ducks.

The Ducks' is awful and the Wild's is tremendous. I don't personally 'like' the Wild's myself because it's a painful reminder, but on the whole they nailed combining the Wild logo with the North Stars' colors.

Wrong colors. Worst logo ever designed for any professional sports team on planet earth. Horrid.

Ducks? Fantastic. Love their original logo. Should have kept it all along. Canucks need to go back to the 90's skate logo.

That 90's skate logo in blue and green would look really good, IMHO.

Not entirely sold on the Centennial jersey, but there isn't much you can do with the Wings since it is simply red and white. Maybe go with an older look in black and white with red highlights? Either way it is a miss, but it isn't ugly by any means. Uninspired is fitting.

Agree on the Avs.

I'm guessing the people in Atlanta aren't looking for some nostalgia sweater, and the Jets have a history they likely haven't fully exploited yet.
