3 million a year. Three million. Of course if they can't do the fucking math on the shot, they can't do the fucking math on their finances either. Do we teach Math anymore? I think we're failing at teaching math. Apparently we're teaching too much critical race theory and not enough math (massive sarcasm).

Yeah, but the problem is, it's *another* three million. If I already had $10M in the bank, $3M is a lot less incentive to do anything. I doubt he's got that much, but his Hawaii Contract was $2.1M for 5 years with plenty of incentives. Throw in endorsements, camps, etc, and I suspect he's already covered for a comfortable life.

Totally different situation than a normal paycheck-to-paycheck wage slave turning down that money.

Well, that's true I guess. But it doesn't jive with the greed of rich people currently. I mean, look at it this way. It's ok for him to throw 3 million away over this but he has a problem paying more taxes? It just doesn't jive.

I have no idea who that person is, but anyone who chooses not to be vaccinated (vs. is recommended by their doctor not to) is a moron. Regardless of what they're giving up.

Pullman/Spokanistan = Meth Capital of the West

Or so I hear.

This has to be the only thing IN, KY, and TN lead the country in.

There's a pretty big red spot from Spokane to Coeur d'Alene. And one big reason it does not go farther, nobody lives there. Between the forests and the rolling hills of the Pallouse, people are pretty sparse.

Masks were strongly recommended for the MN Wild home opener last night.

Would be shocked if there were 100 face diapers out of the 18500 in attendance.

Covidians, while devote cult members, there certainly aren’t as many as they would like you to believe.

“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government.” -- Arnie Wensinger, In-N-Out’s chief legal and business officer

San Francisco In-N-Out temporarily closed over city’s proof of COVID-19 vaccine requirement

If you're gonna close an In-and-Out over "public health" I'd say it should be cardiac surgeons (not virus chasers) locking their doors. ;-)

I'm of two minds on this.

First, I hate asking poorly-paid employees to do this. Most people are generally decent and will offer up vaccination evidence. But the ones that won't tend to be violent assholes, and I don't think it's particularly fair to ask the underpaid cashier to deal with that.

At the same time, if you close your business instead of following the rules, then I have little sympathy for you. Perhaps another business will come in and take your spot.

I actually tend to agree with them. It is not reasonable to expect minimum wage workers to actively police vaccination status and potentially be on the receiving end of verbal and/or physical abuse. It's hard enough to hire and retain service workers as it is right now.

But to close the entire restaurant seems like a political overreaction, unless you've determined that it isn't profitable to operate on a drive-thru only model. Since INO cooks everything to order, that may be the case, I don't know.
