President Raisi of the Islamic Republic clearly responding to attempts to normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel:

This is why all that BS peacemaking by the Trumps was more dangerous than helpful. Iran wants a war and got Hamas to start it.

Anyone got a time machine so we can go back and cap Arthur Balfour and friends so we can try this last century in the Middle East over again. It's obvious nothing is getting fixed before climate change makes the whole region uninhabitable.
 
Bibi being as big of a piece of sh-t as Trump, and his government doing anything but working toward any kind of workable solution with the Palestinians, much less the other crazy a— sh-t they’ve been working on, make it harder for me to have sympathy for Israel. The individual citizens being directly affected, absolutely. As has been said a dozen times now, nothing good will come of this, and once Israel wins, will it lead to more support/power for Bibi?

It sounds like he is getting ripped on both sides. The Liberals hate that his actions lead to this and the Right that his intelligence agencies dropped the ball. We will see what the net few days bring us though.

You can point a finger at Biden saying it's his fault or you can offer up a president that would have handled this better.

But keep in mind, the Republicans have blocked ambassadors for basically the entire middle east and haven't let our military leaders be appointed.
