Even still, what did Hamas hope to accomplish here? As bad as it all sounds, they barely got anywhere into Israel; this makes 67 and 73 look strategically successful. And they've just ensured anywhere they might be will be leveled.

Maybe they thought the Israelis would greet them as liberators.
 
Apparently fox just admitted it’s not great that tuberville has caused us to not have a naval chief of operations

My guess is it’s more a play to strike a psychological blow than gain much territory.

Hamas only exists if there is conflict. (I suppose the same can be said about Bibi.) So, what they accomplish is the ability to fill their coffers with money and arms from their allies. War is great business, as has often been said. Even when you lose.
 
I’m never going to spend time defending Israel as they’ve had decades of horrific behavior towards Palestinian civilians….but hamas is really at another level here. Blinken said a holocaust survivor in a wheelchair was dragged across the Gaza border along with women and children

If the Saudis sign a peace deal with Israel, doesn't that officially leave most to all of the Arabs throwing the Palestinians under the bus instead of the half-ass shove they've given them since 1949? That might be worth throwing down in Hamas' eyes.

That appears to be the motive. Frankly a pox on everyone's house. The stupidity of this planet knows no bounds.

Agreed. I have been saying Israel burned their claim to the moral high ground 20 years ago and Hamas just said "Hold My Beer". Any chance at a two state solution died with that attack.

Iran definitely got their money's worth.

Terrorist groups funded by Iran are saying all US bases in Middle East are a target if the US lends any support to Israel.

I thought Jared and dump solved all these issues tho

Iran wants a war...they got issues they don't want to deal with so they need a way to distract.

Israel doesn't need any support they just need us to stay out of the way. Usually we do until Europe whines about it...but I don't see Europe mak8ng a stink this time.

This sucks.
