So you want to die in a nuclear holocaust? Because that is 100% the end of the path for this thought

Don't engage. He gets all his opinions from The National Interest and American Spectator. It is worthless to get into a discussion with a conservabot.

"Anti-war" Drew.

The whole play is "if you're going to back Ukraine you must* go all the way, and you won't do that, so just quit and let Putin have his snack."

The Right is pathetically obvious.

* A completely arbitrary assumption with no basis

I’m not saying nato should go into Ukraine, I’m saying that is the choice I think it will have. Neither is a great option.

Why are R's talking about defunding Ukraine??? I don't get that. Keep giving them arms as much as mother russia give them people to shoot at.

Seems that just letting russians die for nothing is a perfectly good way to go. They seem super willing.

Ukraine still has the upper hand, why so pessimistic?

It's literally the second to last option on the table.

1. do what we're doing now
...
...
infinity-1. Engage directly or enter Ukraine
infinity. Preemptive nuclear strike.

Because they're traitors. Plain and simple. All of them save for Liz Cheney and the other one.

Because the Republican party are Putin's useful idiots, and admire his authoritarian rule.

They are supporting their own.

The real morons are the one who spent their entire life being afraid of the USSR, and now want to pretend they are ok. Their beloved Ronnie really stepped it up in the 80s, and they just want to ignore all of that and turn their coats to be red. Thanks drew. Made all that money spent on the cold war rather pointless, didn't it?

No tanks for Ukraine right now.

I think the time is fast approaching where either NATO joins the fight or Ukraine is lost to Russia.

The Kremlin just had to have one of Putin's long-time henchmen threaten in a Telegram post to nuke everyone if Russia loses their war for Ukraine. Definitely sounds like a glorious victory for the Bear is imminent and not at all like they're sweating bullets and grasping at straws.

dammit, mookie forgot how well a certain se Asian country can drink. mookie was invited to lunch at the embassy and got hosed with the ambassador. Kept mookie’s wine glass filled while eating, then he pulled out some wodka his russian colleague gave him.
mookie recalls singing karaoke at one point to great applause. Then mookie woke up at home in his bed. Girl saw mookie and just started laughing.
the things mookie does for his country….

There are a couple big concerns I have. The first is that I wonder how much more the US can supply Ukraine. It can’t be a good sign that we are pulling stuff from South Korea to send them. The second is that I wonder where Ukraine is at manpower wise? Russia has obviously suffered massive losses but I’m sure Ukraine has as well. Russia has millions of **** ups they can send in to soak up bullets but I don’t think Ukraine has that luxury.

My guess is that sometime in the next couple of months Russia will attack from Belarus a lot further west than they did last winter and cut off Ukraines supply lines. NATO will have a tough choice at that point.

Can't wait for that to happen, can you.

Hate to break it to you, Drew, but Ukraine has been doing a pretty good job killing Nazis so far, and there is no reason to assume they won't continue.

Russia isn't just bleeding out men, they're bleeding out materiel. They have retooled their industry to crank out shoddy replacement military equipment and that plus the sanctions is making Putin's regime deeply unpopular among Russian people, and also destroying their credibility as a Pan-Slavic force among Bulgarians, Serbs, Ruthenians (Belorussians), the few Ukrainians who supported them in the first place, etc.

And those "reserves" you think they have? Those are conscripts, and young males are streaming out of the country rather than bleed to death for oligarchs. If only the derps in our meth states would do the same in the face of the GOP's oil wars.

You are about to lose one of the MAGAts primary friendly regimes, as well as the GOP's major foreign briber.

Y'all may well be f-cked. Tots and pears.

120,000 Russian men. 800 a day. Figures like that end in palace coups or civil wars.

Slava Ukraini
End the Right, everywhere

I share Drew's concern that without a strong USSR/Russia, the world is a less stable place. And once that happens, who knows what changes might be in store here at home.
