I keep running into the “sympathy” folks, not Trump cultists either, but decent Biden supporters who keep saying the insurrectionists can’t really be blamed due to the brainwashing.
NO effing way! Decent German citizens became bloodthirsty nazis when blindly following Hitler. What rightfully happened to them? Citizens have choices, you make the wrong one, especially against the country, you pay.
Arlington Cemetery has many inhabitants wondering just what the eff the sacrifices were for if sympathy due to brainwashing is the answer.

You didn't think that before? There are pictures of people with zip ties, explosives were found, the cops let them through the barricade and let those inside to fend for themselves. (they arent trained for this cause it hasnt happened in 200 years) They knew where to go and how to get there. They were allowed to leave. Even after they left the building they went right back to the barricades and no one did a thing. They even had gallows ready. Reinforcements were purposely delayed...

You don't have to be Oliver Stone to see what this was. When the Veep and SOTH (2 and 3 in the line of succession) are in the same area you don't have Maybury's Finest in charge. They gassed protestors for a photo op, they had helicopters fly low to harass people on the street this summer...yet when 2 of the top 3 members of the Government and an entire branch are put in mortal danger its crickets. I have seen traffic stops in broad daylight with more of a police presence.

Now maybe this is like the Matrix where because it had never been tried they werent prepared. The problem is Y'all Qaeda was openly talking about it for weeks. Trump was tweeting about it almost daily since November! Did they think it was all talk? The Rednecks were clashing with cops the night before what did they think would happen when the tensions really got high?

Yeah I see people talking about mental illness...that crap is just excuses. I heard none of that after 9/11. That is people wondering why a bunch of White People are acting like savages.

And yes, that is primarily Biden Supporters on the Left. They dont even see their bias...
 
I am interested to see how law enforcement handles letting things planned for the 19th and 20th happen. Hard to believe them claiming to be unprepared again, but they aren't terribly smart.

Some of the protestors face life in prison for spilling paint and breaking windows.

We need to make sure that people understand exactly what has happened with BLM protesters, and that these guys have done WORSE. This was one of the most important federal buildings that got vandalized, things stolen, and breaking and entering. ALL of the people who were in the Capital building better have a much harsher sentence vs the BLM protesters. They did far, far, far worse for far more illegal reasons. Had they stayed outside, it would be First Amendment rights, but the second they stepped into the building- they broke many, many laws.

And we can't even compare the looting of businesses with what went on in the capitol building- so even the looters that were associated with BLM should have less sentences than these guys.

Other than cops shooting people, did any cops die? I'm sure if any were bludgeoned to death, the people who did it would be in jail for the rest of their life, if not on death row. The cop who died was a federal cop. On federal grounds. I may be against the death penalty, but this seems a very classic reason that the federal death penalty even exists.

Sad that so few will get "resisting arrest" since almost none were arrested for breaking a law. It's hard to fathom that people were escorted out of the building and walked down the stairs after breaking multiple federal laws. Even worse when you consider how badly people are treated for a simple misdemeanor- you get your kids taken from you.

Some of these cops need to go to prison as accessories to the crimes.

They. Had. Shirts. Made. I am assuming the company they used to make the shirts were also part of Y'all Qaeda (I really like that name) as well because how do you fulfill an order of something that talks about something like that and not report it???

My answer is please allow me to freedomly express my foot in your azz! My (Jewish) Grandfather was in the First Marines in the Pacific in WW2. Another was in the Navy. These LARPers couldnt hold their jocks. So to wear the colors or paraphernalia of the enemy...traitor is too good a word.

It was obviously planned and some law enforcement officers went along with it. I was more thinking along the lines of it being an even larger conspiracy. More like everyone but Pence and the Dems had this hatched but then enough people's conscience got the best of them.

Yep. As we're seeing all too often these days, some off-duty Capitol cops were confirmed to be part of it.
