I'm sure that would be struck down as a necessity implied by 2A. Indeed, that would even be a legitimate objection, though obviously this Court majority neither needs nor engages in legitimate argument. They are an axe-wielder whose possession of an axe is their cert and their stare decisis.

The gun bill doesn't really do anything so there is no need to knock it down. The court already got its gun victory with the fuckwit ruling yesterday.

Who cares. The constitution doesn't define it that way. Congress can tax whatever the hell it wants, except for the right to vote.

Taxation appears, IMO, to be the only good route for any type of serious gun control following the recent ruling. I assume that the state can tax different guns at different rates (Tax on a 12G double barrel should be much less than tax on an AR 15 and so on. Same with ammo.) but can they tax different people at different rates? I know they do this based on income (Boy do I know), but can they tax at different rates based on location, occupation, credit score, whatever (obviously avoiding race, gender, etc.)? A rancher in Wyoming needs a .30-06 far more than Billy Bob in Little Rock needs an AR-15 for home defense. Their costs should reflect that. Can licenses be done similarly to account for those guns that people already own or are licenses not a form of taxation?

To be fair, I’m sure a lot of Russia is similar to central Alaska weather wise: cold and dark in the winter, hot as hell with endless sunlight and wildfire smoke in the summer.

There’s a reason why I don’t live in Fairbanks.

Worst shooting in Denmark since yesterday. Sh-t, sorry, I was thinking of the United States. I meant February 2015.
