*crosses fingers* I hope so. What a joke of a franchise nowadays.Turns out Monday is D Day. Will the GOP send the Vikings packing?

I agree, it sucks to pay for a new stadium for billionaire NFL owners, but whether it is right or wrong, if it isn't built, the 2012 season is the last for the Vikings in MN.Publicly financed stadiums - not exactly a great idea.

But think of all the money it will bring in! Not so much.

Neutral turf? How about if they just weren't trying to intentionally hit the QB late... and actively trying to injure him? That franchise should have been destroyed along with the rest of the city during Katrina. Hopefully they get Katrina'd again.Oh yeah...and the Farve era...where in 2009, the Vikings could well have taken home the hardware had the game against the superbowl champs been on neutral turf.
Personally I wouldn't place much money on the thought that the Vikings as a franchise is permanently washed up.

I'm surprised the Commish is not forking over NFL bucks to help build a new stadium.
But where would you build it?

Actually the league does fork over up to 200 million to help teams. But the teams generally build that into their offers to start with.I'm surprised the Commish is not forking over NFL bucks to help build a new stadium.
