Your mother was a hamster & your father smelt of elderberries

Re: Your mother was a hamster & your father smelt of elderberries

I was hoping Rover and Fresh Fish would dominate this thread.

No thanks, I'll leave that entirely to Rover. I'm generally not one to take pleasure in deliberately hurting other people....and besides, I'm nowhere near the smartest person on this board, either. ;)

I do get impatient with people who claim to be smart who then say or do dumb things; and I dislike it greatly when people say one thing while they consistenly do something else entirely. I also get angry when someone in a position of trust / responsiblity / authority uses that position for personal gain at the expense of whomever s/he is suppoed to be caring for. in those three situations I may well "call people out" so to speak, and perhaps use some language I otherwise would refrain from using.

I don't mind it when I myself or other "regular folk" make mistakes because that's part of the human condition....as long as one then says "oops my bad" afterward. If a person won't acknowledge an obvious mistake, well then see the above paragraph.

and oh, by the way, not your mother, but someone else's mother....I called her a two-bit wh^re and she hit me in the face with a bag full of quarters!

I think this is an insult, but to whom?

A great line came to me the other day, now I just am waiting patiently for the appropriate time and place to use it.

"The prospect of engaging you in a battle of wits reminds me of the battle with the Black Night in Monty Python and the Holy Grail."

Tis no fun engaging in a battle of wits with an unarmed man

Subscribed because I'm better than all of you.

MAVFANJEFF repped (gray), saying I need to change my diaper, for making fun of the Rep Is Serious Business thread or whatever it was called. I chuckled.

Rep is serious business thread? Is that the same as JDUBB's thread?
