Your 2012 Cycling Thread

Re: Your 2012 Cycling Thread

He did indeed say that. Not sure I have an explanation beyond the fact that he's full of it. Paired up with his claim that he didn't dope during the second comeback...it's laughable.

The facts say otherwise in rather resounding fashion. (Not in the mood to find the original which I recall from a month or two ago, but was aware that site re-posted it today)

Watching part II right now. Far more of a joke than Part I was.

Yeah, the reticulytes, or whatever they're called, the tiny, emerging things that develop into red blood cells. I saw another graph that showed more clearly, that during the Giro, Lance's red blood cell count was fairly high, but he also had a high number of reticulytes, which is where those blood cells came from. But his blood samples from the Tour showed high red cell counts, but his reticulytes were way down. How do you get all those red blood cells if you don't have the reticulytes?

Plus, the reason he denies 2009-2010 is because they are still inside the statute of limitations, where if he's found doping in them, he can still be banned. It's why all the other riders in the Reasoned Decision, like Hincapie and the rest, say they stopped doping in 2007. Can't be penalized anymore for the years prior to that, but can still be liable for those since.
