The difference between me you and lickerwinker, is that I don't pretend to know what is going on in your head. You don't know that I don't respect Yale. In fact if you bothered to actually read as opposed to rushing into an argument you would know that in fact I have state repeatedly Yale is a very good team. Moreover, don't say MOST won't give Yale credit, that's factually inaccurate and makes you look like a whiney, embellishing little *****kk...

Stop being a baby and stop making **** up, whipe your tears and take a deep breath. While Yale actually gets respect fans like yourself likely never will as long as they continue to act like the sterotypical little snot-nosed twerp that talks out of their asses and get upset everytime someone disagrees.

I am having a hard time understanding HOW you are still in the green? And how you haven't figured out that USCHO Posters are screwing with YALE FANS. Are you seriously that thick?

what are you talking about? I didn't say it was grammatically correct. I said it was a difference, but I changed it so you could focus on the actual topic as opposed to the grammar. Next time read the sentence first then comment, but thanks for trying, I am very proud of you and how much concern you have for proper grammar.

Maybe you could start a thread : Yale #1 at grammar in the country ???

I'll go slow for you. It is not grammatical to say 'between you and I.' It is grammatical to say 'between you and me.'

It really doesn't matter. The way you said it is so common that it will most likely become an accepted usage of the phrase in our lifetime.

Anyway, let's get back to Ylae*, and how they are #1, skating circles around the WHCA, and the best team in college hockey...

It's a tradition thing. Grammar changes over time, which basically makes it BS. But if someone is going to pose as a grammar nazi, he should at least follow convention.

It matters because when you have no hope of responding in an intelligent manner to someone elses post then it gives you something to say. I think Licker decides and it only matters to those people without a legitimate response who seem to think that everyone should use proper Grammar and English even on hockey forums. From now on do not for example say AssSS, rather say arse. And make sure to hold your pinky out when you are drinking your tea.

So it was just some jackarse, who is probably from Cornell but roots for Yale, made up a bunch of stupid rules that people blindly follow. How silly.

I didn't say anything about what was grammatically correct. I acknowledge what I said was incorrect. Possibly you misunderstood the point. Moreover, other Hokeydope I typically dont criticize peoples grammar as I know mine sucks.

Now that we are clear on you and i and me and you and everyone else, lets get back to trashing Yale fans.

Dirty you bring up a good point despite yourself. Who goes to Cornell and then roots for Yale. Cornell has been much better then Yale historically. I can only think someone who only started liking hockey in 2009, a fairweather fan, or a turncoat.

They messed up the "between you and me" and "between you and I" question on the SAT. It leads to an instant rejection from Yale, so they were sent to Cornell.

I hate to nitpick, because you're trying so hard, but since there are three objects of the preposition, the subject should be plural--there can't be one difference between three things. That's enough for today. Don't want to overwhelm you!

But soon you can be as obnoxious with grammar as you are with college hockey.
