Ylae*......best team in the country? Not even the best team in the EZAC.

Re: Ylae*......best team in the country? Not even the best team in the EZAC.

I hate to nitpick, because you're trying so hard, but since there are three objects of the preposition, the subject should be plural--there can't be one difference between three things.

There can be if two things are identical making it, practically speaking a difference between two things.

Re: Ylae*......best team in the country? Not even the best team in the EZAC.

Oh no, all this thinking has affected your memory!

I said the difference between you and I, besides grammar, is that .......

I didn't say I used correct grammar, I said that we used different grammar. Anyways, enough with the frickin grammar for christ's sake. Have you nothing better to post about? Must be a dull afternoon in the Yale dressing room.

Ivies and grammar... jcarter, don't you remember anything from the days when UVM was still a part of the ECAC? ;)

Hey I guess everyone has to have something to focus on. Some of us focus on GiGi's chin, shaft length and flex and hitting from behind (see the aaron marvin thread if you dont' get this) , others worry about grammar.

Re: Ylae*......best team in the country? Not even the best team in the EZAC.

Yale fans just need to take their medicine, learn from it, and not make the same mistakes in the future.

Self appointed arbiter of what is and isn't acceptable for Yale fans to say

The difference between me you and lickerwinker, is that I don't pretend to know what is going on in your head. You don't know that I don't respect Yale. In fact if you bothered to actually read as opposed to rushing into an argument you would know that in fact I have state repeatedly Yale is a very good team. Moreover, don't say MOST won't give Yale credit, that's factually inaccurate and makes you look like a whiney, embellishing little *****kk...
Stop being a baby and stop making **** up, whipe your tears and take a deep breath. While Yale actually gets respect fans like yourself likely never will as long as they continue to act like the sterotypical little snot-nosed twerp that talks out of their asses and get upset everytime someone disagrees.

I must have really gotten under your skin to elicit this kind of response. One can get a general sense of what is in the collective consciousness of Yale bashers by reading the posts. By the way, if you had read my posts, you would have known that I don't traffic with the over-exuberant Yale fans that prompted the "corrective measures" that you speak of.

I
am having a hard time understanding HOW you are still in the green? And how you haven't figured out that USCHO Posters are screwing with YALE FANS. Are you seriously that thick?

That's a good way to cover your tracks. When called on your ***t, say, oh we weren't serious, we were just messing around.

You should really thank me for my posts. The ratio of Yale bashers to Yale supporters on this thread is about 70-30. Without Yale supporters as antagonists, this thread would have petered out a long time ago.

Re: Ylae*......best team in the country? Not even the best team in the EZAC.

Correct, as a fan of a program with limited success I understand getting excited when your team is performing well. I would also point out that you didn't see any

"Vermont skating circles around ....."
"Vermont the best team in the country ...."

or any other stupid threads.
Just be glad (in a way) that the last time such threads would even have been possible, they probably would have been on Hockey-L instead of USCHO. I lived in Vermont through the Perrin-St.Louis-Thomas years - there would have been loads of such threads in 96-97...

Re: Ylae*......best team in the country? Not even the best team in the EZAC.

Soooooo, what do you guys think about Yale vs QPac Friday night?

Nope, we took a vote. I won

I did, you noted you "just started posting." If your reading comprehension skills were better you would also know I didn't say or even imply you posted on those threads. You are the one making retarded statements now though. As such you get the repsonses. Notice by and large the other Yale fans have already learned if they shut up, then the razing they get goes away. Slow learner I guess.

That's a good way to cover your tracks. .

Huh? I said you were wrong. You could provide some proof the other way, but I'm guessing your search will come up empty.

Re: Ylae*......best team in the country? Not even the best team in the EZAC.

I hope for Yale's sake they win. They can't afford to lose to many games with such a soft schedule.

If Yale is truly the #3 team in D1 and QPac is unrated then Yale should dominate, should be a severe beatdown.

Anything less and Yale is overrated.

Re: Ylae*......best team in the country? Not even the best team in the EZAC.

You don't have to be coy, the blogger you're talking about is Goon. We all make fun of him, so feel free to join in.

He hasn't learned a thing since.

Re: Ylae*......best team in the country? Not even the best team in the EZAC.

I think it'll be a fairly tough game for Yale, especially since it's at QPac. QPac has won 3 of 4 games from the WCHA (SCSU & UNO), this year. In a similar vein as a previous comment, I guess UND should give SCSU a couple of beatdowns this weekend since SCSU is not ranked, right? My guess is QPac and/or SCSU will come away with a win this weekend. college hockey is just too unpredictable and that's why they play the games.

Re: Ylae*......best team in the country? Not even the best team in the EZAC.

Dirty you bring up a good point despite yourself. Who goes to Cornell and then roots for Yale. Cornell has been much better then Yale historically. I can only think someone who only started liking hockey in 2009, a fairweather fan, or a turncoat.

Actually I started rooting for Yale when they were a losing team, during Keith Allain's first season. And I still root for the Big Red but since I live near Yale, and attend most of their games because I am a hockey fan, I started rooting for them.

I decided you are right about everything oh wise one so have fun with whatever it is that you do that makes you so angry

That's like a gopher fan rooting for the sioux just because they live in east grand forks. Unfathomable.
