Yale has us skating in circles-the drop passes and playing with the puck in our own zone is going to come back to haunt us. They are constantly looking for the break out and have one man up ice almost all the time.

I wouldn't want to be in the RPI locker room. They are lucky to be tied and showed very little as Yale was all over them.

We have already put ourselves down 2 men once-we cannot afford to take any more penalties. This is now just a 20 minute game and we are extremely lucky that we are tied. 7 penalties called and probably cannot argue with any of them-but in the third we just cannot give them the chance to call us for anything unless the penalty is taken in an attempt to prevent a scoring chance. Give all the credit to Yale-they have taken away the confidence and swagtger we had all last night and negated most of our attempts to forecheck and cycle like we did so well yesterday.

Strange, but I seem to have completely blocked that month out of my memory :rolleyes:. But now that I check the results...the men's team went 2-4-1 and the women were 0-6-1 :eek:. I feel a lot better about RPI hockey now, although today hasn't been stellar (so far).

Such a different game tonight. Yale is a superior opponent who can play with speed and be physical as well. I wonder what SA has up his sleeve for the 3rd?

Totally agree with you, and yet, Yale only has one goal and they needed a two man advantage to get that one.
we are still in this game because of our tenacity in the defensive zone.
I think we will come out with a new attitude and take it to Yale this period.

I am no sure who is counting shots as they have it 16-11 Yale. i thought it was a far wider spread.
