World Soccer XXVII: The REAL Football

Re: World Soccer XXVII: The REAL Football

NWSL game played on tiny field.

1. Is there a rule against playing on dirt, or did the baseball team not want the infield to get ruined?
2. Though NWSL standards are a 70 yd minimum, this game was still legal under FIFA standards which allow all the way to a 50 yd minimum, which I guess at that point makes the goal box the sidelines, or only leaves a yard or two.
3. Back when Real and ManU played at Michigan, I thought the narrower field they had worked better for setting up scoring, but that field was at least into the 60s for yardage, if not reaching the minimum 70yd for FIFA int'l matches.

So they left the lights to the stadium on overnight and now the place is infested with moths. They are everywhere. Great decision!

The only people excited about seeing CR7 out are bettors.

Meanwhile Glaxo Smith-Kline have filed suit to make sure this game is never rebroadcast because it'll be a better insomnia aid than their chemists will ever make.

Certainly don't want to see portugal rewarded for playing this way. At the same time, without ronaldo, tough to blame them.

Well, that's the wrong way to play it, for that to happen. Bummer.

It would have been worse had they scored on that free kick from a Portugal handball.
